In 2012, Lohan famously denied claims made in a Vanity Fair article that she auditioned to be Cruise’s wife before he married actress Katie Holmes in 2006. “I just want everyone & @TomCruise to know, that I have/had NO part in the VF story … Nor has anyone in my life, personal and work related,” she wrote on Twitter at the time.
